About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Design Auditor with a B.Tech in Civil Engineering and strong experience in residential interior project execution and design auditing. The candidate will review and audit project designs before releasing them to the factory for production.
The role requires a strong understanding of site execution, constructability, dimensions, materials, and practical installation requirements to identify design-related issues before production begins.
Key Responsibilities
- Audit and review interior design drawings before releasing them to the factory.
- Check drawings for dimensions, measurements, specifications, materials, and constructability.
- Identify design discrepancies, errors, omissions, and potential execution issues.
- Verify whether the proposed design can be practically executed at the site.
- Review designs from a site-execution and Project Management perspective.
- Coordinate with Design and Project teams to clarify and resolve design-related issues.
- Ensure necessary corrections are completed before the drawings are sent to the factory.
- Identify potential manufacturing and installation challenges at the design stage.
- Ensure drawings meet project requirements and company standards.
- Provide technical feedback to designers based on practical site-execution experience.
Required Skills & Experience
- B.Tech in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
- Prior experience in design auditing/design checking is required.
- Strong experience in residential interior site execution as a Project Manager / Site Project Manager.
- Good understanding of modular furniture, residential interiors, measurements, and installation processes.
- Robust knowledge of construction drawings and technical details.
- Ability to identify errors and practical execution issues in designs.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical ability.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Candidates who have worked as a Project Manager in residential interior projects and subsequently gained experience in design checking/auditing will be preferred.
- Should have strong practical knowledge of how designs translate into factory production and site installation.
- Should be able to review designs independently and provide clear technical observations.
