The Interior Designer is responsible for developing creative and functional interior design solutions for commercial, residential, retail, hospitality, and turnkey furniture projects. The role includes concept development, space planning, material selection, client coordination, presentation preparation, and coordination with technical and execution teams.
The Interior Designer must balance aesthetics, functionality, budget, manufacturing feasibility, and project timelines while ensuring alignment with client expectations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities
1. Concept Development & Design
- Develop interior design concepts based on client requirements
- Prepare:
- Mood boards
- Space plans
- Concept presentations
- Furniture layouts
- Material boards
- Design proposals
- Offer drawings
- Production drawings
- Installation drawings
- CNC-ready drawing references where required
- Create BOM and material detailing support drawings
- Create aesthetically appealing and functional interiors
- Develop custom furniture concepts where required
- Ensure design consistency and brand alignment
2. Space Planning & Technical Coordination
- Prepare optimized layout plans
- Ensure functionality, ergonomics, and circulation efficiency
- Coordinate with Draftsmen for technical detailing
- Ensure designs are technically feasible for manufacturing and execution
- Review shop drawings and technical submissions
3. Client Coordination
- Conduct client meetings and requirement discussions
- Present concepts, layouts, and material selections
- Incorporate client feedback into designs
- Support design revisions and approvals
- Build positive client relationships throughout project execution
- Coordinate with Procurement and Vendors for samples and specifications
- Ensure materials align with project budgets and timelines
5. Project Coordination
- Coordinate with Operations and Site teams during execution
- Conduct site visits where required
- Ensure design intent is maintained during execution
- Resolve design-related site issues
- Support timely project completion
6. Presentation & Visualization
- Prepare high-quality presentations and client proposals
- Develop 2D and 3D visualizations
- Create rendered views and walkthrough concepts where required
- Support business development through presentation materials
7. Design Documentation
- Maintain organized project documentation
- Ensure proper revision management
- Maintain design libraries and material databases
- Support BOM and specification documentation
- Creative yet practical
- Strong in client-facing communication
- Aesthetically driven with technical understanding
- Able to balance creativity with execution realities
