- Job Summary
We are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Accountancy & Statistics Teacher to teach Commerce students of Classes 11 and 12 as per the GSEB Board syllabus. The candidate will be responsible for delivering concepts clearly, preparing students for board examinations, conducting regular assessments, and helping students develop strong conceptual and numerical skills.
- Key Responsibilities
- Teach Accountancy and Statistics for GSEB Class 11 & 12 Commerce students.
- Follow the prescribed GSEB syllabus, textbook and examination pattern.
- Explain accounting concepts, formats, principles and numerical problems in a simple and practical manner.
- Teach Statistics concepts, formulas, calculations and their applications.
- Prepare students for GSEB Board examinations through systematic syllabus coverage.
- Prepare chapter-wise notes, question banks, practice papers and revision material.
- Focus on board-oriented questions, significant concepts and numerical practice.
- Maintain proper records of student attendance, performance and test results.
- Coordinate with the academic team regarding syllabus planning and student progress.
- Maintain a positive, disciplined and engaging classroom environment.
- Required Skills
- Strong command over Accountancy and Statistics.
- Good understanding of the GSEB Commerce curriculum.
- Ability to explain difficult concepts in simple and easy-to-understand language.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to prepare students specifically for board examinations.
- Good doubt-solving and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective use of examples, practical questions and teaching aids.
- Ability to complete the syllabus within the planned academic schedule.
- Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce / Accountancy / Statistics / Economics or a relevant field.
- B.Ed. / relevant teaching qualification will be an added advantage.
- Candidates with strong GSEB teaching experience will be preferred.
- Experience
- 1–3+ years of teaching experience in Accountancy and/or Statistics preferred.
- Freshers with strong subject knowledge and good teaching ability may also be considered.
Pay: Up to ₹30,000.00 per month
