About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Team Lead who can work independently on complex software development projects while providing technical guidance to the development team.

The role is primarily hands-on development focused, requiring strong expertise in modern full-stack technologies, application development, debugging, performance optimization, and deployment. The candidate will be expected to independently own development tasks/modules from requirement understanding through design, coding, testing, deployment, and production support, while also guiding junior and mid-level developers.

Key Responsibilities1. Independent Full-Stack Development

- Independently design, develop, test, and deploy scalable web applications.
- Take complete ownership of assigned modules/features from requirement analysis to production deployment.
- Develop applications using MERN and MEAN stack technologies.
- Work extensively with React.js, Angular, Next.js, Node.js, Express.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Develop reusable, scalable, and maintainable frontend and backend components.
- Build and integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Work independently on complex technical problems and provide effective solutions.

2. Database & Backend Development

- Design and develop efficient MongoDB data models and database structures.
- Work with MongoDB aggregation, indexing, replication, and performance optimization.
- Use caching technologies such as Redis where required.
- Develop high-performance backend services using Node.js and Express.js.
- Identify and resolve backend, API, database, and application performance issues.

3. Technical Ownership

- Understand business requirements and independently convert them into technical solutions.
- Make appropriate technology and implementation decisions for assigned projects/modules.
- Participate in application design, technical discussions, and solution planning.
- Identify potential technical risks, performance bottlenecks, and scalability issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production and application issues.
- Take ownership of application stability, quality, and timely delivery.

4. Code Quality & Engineering Practices

- Write clean, efficient, reusable, and well-structured code.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Develop and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Follow Git-based version control, branching, and code review practices.
- Identify and address technical debt and improve existing applications.
- Ensure applications meet performance,



security, scalability, and maintainability requirements.

5. Cloud & Deployment

- Work with AWS and/or Azure environments for application deployment and management.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and deployment.
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot deployment/production issues.
- Work with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.

6. Team Guidance & Collaboration

- Provide technical guidance and support to developers within the team.
- Help team members troubleshoot technical issues and improve coding practices.
- Review code and provide constructive technical feedback.
- Support estimation, task planning, sprint execution, and technical discussions.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, Business, and other stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
- Act as a technical point of contact for assigned applications or projects.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
- 6–8+ years of hands-on software development experience.
- Strong experience independently developing and delivering full-stack applications.
- Strong hands-on expertise in MERN and/or MEAN stack.
- Good experience with React.js, Angular, Next.js, Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, and API development.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Experience in mentoring or providing technical guidance to other developers.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple technical tasks and deliver within timelines.
