Job Summary

SIAM RELEASE MANAGER

Key Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities :  Take the ownership to oversee the day to day operations relating to Release Management  Ensure Release Requests are assessed properly and effective Risk assessment and review of Release across Service Providers  Ensure Release Process compliance, audit process, provide necessary feedback to Service Providers for improvement  Forward Plan the release windows and cycles across Service Providers.  Manage risks and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality.  Measure and monitor progress to ensure application releases are delivered on time and that they meet or exceed expectations.  Communicate all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, QA plans, schedule, and scope changes.  Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams, suppliers at different locations.  Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews.  Weekly Release Reporting, communicate release details and schedules to the Business as required.  Negotiate, plan and manage all release activities.  Provide guidance to internal and external Service Providers in fulfilling their Release Management roles and responsibilities.  Identify and implement process improvements and ITSM platform/integration enhancements relating to same  Ensure Release Management KPI/SLA are reviewed at agreed frequency and analyse/review for improvement  Participate in CAB meetings to discuss release scope and/or roadblocks.



 Maintain the release schedule for all core services and ensure alignment across all suppliers.  Take the ownership of Process Data, maintenance & update along with defining Functional requirements for changes, enhancements in the Release Management Process workflows  Conduct regular trainings for process awareness and improve process compliance

Skill Requirements

 Very robust Influential relationship management skills with stakeholders, senior management, colleagues and external service providers.  Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities with the ability to interact and influence at all levels of the organisation.Strong oral and written communication skills  Strong problem solving skills and the ability to logically break down a problem into smaller manageable parts to solve  Release and/or project management experience, (Solid understanding of project management principles preferred)  Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle  Supervisory skills and the ability to leverage support from other parts of the organization  Proven expert in managing multiple stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, but specifically at senior management level.  Understanding of Technologies & ITSM Tool  Coordination, negotiation, and persuasion skills
