Key Responsibilities

1. Product Costing & Estimation

· Prepare detailed costing and estimation for products, equipment, castings, and EPC projects.

· Prepare cost sheets based on BOM, BOQ, drawings, technical specifications, material requirements, and project scope.

· Calculate material, labour, manufacturing, fabrication, machining, overhead, logistics, and other applicable costs.

· Analyse product/project cost structures and identify major cost drivers.

· Support preparation of commercial quotations and pricing proposals.

· Compare estimated costs with actual costs and analyse cost variances.

2. Equipment & Casting Costing

· Prepare detailed costing for equipment and equipment castings.

· Estimate costs related to raw materials, foundry/casting processes, machining, fabrication, heat treatment, inspection/testing, consumables, labour, and overheads.

· Review technical drawings and specifications to understand material and manufacturing requirements.

· Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Foundry, Procurement, and Projects teams for accurate costing inputs.

· Develop and maintain historical cost data and benchmarks for equipment and castings.

· Identify opportunities for cost optimisation and value engineering.

3. EPC Project Cost Estimation

· Prepare detailed cost estimates for EPC and engineering projects.

· Estimate costs for equipment, materials, fabrication, erection, installation, commissioning, subcontracting, transportation, manpower, and other project activities.

· Review BOQs, specifications, drawings, and project requirements for accurate estimation.





· Support the tendering/bidding team with project cost calculations.

· Analyse historical project costs and develop benchmarks for future estimates.

4. Budgeting & Cost Control

· Prepare annual budgets and project-specific budgets.

· Monitor actual expenditure against approved budgets.

· Conduct Budget vs. Actual analysis and provide variance reports.

· Identify cost overruns and coordinate with relevant departments for corrective actions.

· Monitor project costs and ensure effective cost control.

· Support management in identifying cost-saving and cost-reduction opportunities.

5. Cost-to-Company & Cost Analysis

· Prepare and analyse Cost-to-Company (CTC) and overall project/product cost structures.

· Analyse direct and indirect costs, including material, manpower, manufacturing, overheads, subcontracting, logistics, and other project costs.

· Monitor changes in raw material and other input costs and assess their impact on product/project profitability.

· Prepare detailed cost analysis for management decision-making.

· Support margin and profitability analysis for products and projects.

6. Cost Variance & MIS

· Prepare estimated vs. actual cost analysis.

· Identify and investigate significant cost variances.

· Prepare monthly costing and project cost MIS.

· Develop reports covering cost, budget, actual expenditure, variance, margins, and profitability.

· Maintain costing databases and historical project cost records.

· Present key cost-related information to management.

Pay: ₹15,653.05 - ₹48,113.51 per month
