Job Summary

Sri Chelliamman Food Manufacturers is looking for a responsible and organized Factory Operations & Inventory Supervisor to manage and monitor daily factory activities, inventory movement, employee attendance and basic factory maintenance.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a food manufacturing workplace, handling physical stock verification and maintaining accurate records using Google Sheets/Excel.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and verify Raw Material (RM) In & RM Out.
- Check incoming materials for quantity, weight and basic quality.
- Monitor and record Finished Product (FP) In & FP Out.
- Conduct daily Closing Stock (CS) verification.
- Compare physical stock with system records and report discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory and production-related records.
- Monitor employee attendance, shifts and overtime.
- Coordinate with Masters, Helpers and other factory employees.
- Follow up on daily production requirements and pending production.
- Monitor wastage, damaged products and stock differences.
- Ensure proper movement of RM and Finished Products within the factory.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization and basic discipline in the factory.
- Monitor basic factory requirements such as gas, firewood, water and other operational needs.
- Report equipment, maintenance or operational issues to management.
- Prepare and submit daily factory and stock reports.





Requirements

- 10th / 12th pass or above.
- 1–3 years of experience in factory, inventory, store, warehouse or production operations preferred.
- Basic knowledge of Google Sheets / MS Excel.
- Good basic calculation and weighing skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with workers.
- Should be responsible, punctual and physically active.
- Good observation and attention to detail.
- Ability to identify and report stock discrepancies.
- Tamil communication is required; basic English reading is preferred.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who can take responsibility for the day-to-day control of factory operations and inventory.

This is not purely a data-entry job. The candidate will be required to physically check weights, quantities, stock movement and factory activities and report any discrepancies to management.

Salary

₹10,000 – ₹13,000 per month, based on experience and performance.

Candidates with relevant factory/store experience and strong responsibility may be considered for higher pay within the budget.
