We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The primary responsibility will be creating high-quality, engaging Reels and short-form video content for brands, businesses and social media campaigns.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Instagram Reels, storytelling, trends, pacing and visual aesthetics, along with good knowledge of Graphic Design and Motion Graphics.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit engaging Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and other short-form videos
- Create content with strong hooks, storytelling, transitions, pacing and retention
- Work with raw footage from shoots, events, brands and social media campaigns
- Add motion graphics, typography, transitions, effects and sound design
- Create animated text, logos, titles and other graphic elements
- Adapt videos according to different brand identities and visual styles
- Design supporting graphics for videos when required
- Stay updated with Instagram trends, editing styles, transitions, audio trends and viral formats
- Work closely with the creative and social media team to execute content ideas
- Maintain consistency in branding, typography, colours and overall visual language
- Handle multiple projects and deliver content within deadlines
- Make revisions based on client/creative team feedback

Required Skills

- Strong experience in Reels / Short-form Video Editing
- Good understanding of social media content and trends
- Strong sense of timing,



storytelling and visual composition
- Good knowledge of Graphic Design
- Good understanding of Motion Graphics and Animation
- Knowledge of typography, colour theory, composition and branding
- Ability to create visually engaging content rather than just basic cuts

Software

Strong proficiency in at least some of the following:

- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- CapCut
- DaVinci Resolve

What We're Looking For

We want someone who doesn't just edit videos, but understands why a Reel works.

You should be able to look at raw footage and decide:
What should the hook be? What should stay? What should be cut? Where should the beat drop? What motion graphics will make it better?

A solid portfolio/showreel is mandatory.

Bonus Skills

- Experience working with brands / agencies
- Understanding of social media marketing
- Basic colour grading
- Sound design
- VFX / compositing
- Photography or videography knowledge
- Experience creating content for real estate, lifestyle, hospitality, fashion or events
