Job Summary

Sri Ram Hospitals is looking for a responsible and dedicated Duty Medical Officer (DMO) to provide medical care and support to patients during duty hours. The DMO will be responsible for initial patient assessment, monitoring patients, handling emergencies, coordinating with consultants, and ensuring smooth medical operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct initial assessment and clinical evaluation of patients.
- Monitor patients and document vital signs and clinical findings.
- Attend to emergency and urgent medical cases promptly.
- Provide appropriate initial medical management as per clinical protocols.
- Coordinate with consultants and senior doctors regarding patient care.
- Monitor admitted patients and report any changes in their condition.
- Assist in managing pre-operative and post-operative patients.
- Review investigation reports and communicate relevant findings to consultants.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient medical records and documentation.
- Ensure proper implementation of doctors' orders and treatment plans.
- Coordinate with nursing staff and other departments for smooth patient care.
- Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and initiate necessary first-line management.




- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow hospital policies and protocols.
- Ensure proper handover of patients and pending medical issues between shifts.
- Support the hospital team in maintaining quality patient care and safety standards.

Required Qualifications

- MBBS from a recognized medical college.
- Valid medical registration.
- 0–2 years of experience preferred; freshers may also be considered.
- Good clinical knowledge and patient-handling skills.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hospital environment.
- Willingness to work in shifts and handle emergency situations.
