We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Freelance Accountant with a minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance. The ideal candidate should have robust numerical and analytical skills, good knowledge of accounting principles, and the ability to manage accounting tasks independently and accurately.
Responsibilities:
- Handle day-to-day accounting and maintain accurate financial records.
- Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Assist with tax calculations, documentation, and filing-related activities.
- Maintain and update accounts using accounting software.
- Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and supporting documents.
- Support payroll-related accounting activities when required.
- Assist with internal audit requirements and provide necessary financial records.
- Review and reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and other financial transactions.
- Ensure accounting records are accurate, organized, and up to date.
- Provide accounting support on an as-needed or project basis.
- Maintain general awareness of HR-related accounting activities and assist with related tasks when required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, or similar platforms.
- Good understanding of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and financial regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
