We are looking for a skilled and responsible Ophthalmic Surgical Assistant to join our Ophthalmology team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist ophthalmic surgeons during surgical procedures
- Prepare OT, surgical instruments and consumables
- Assist with patient preparation and positioning
- Maintain strict OT aseptic and infection-control protocols
- Handle ophthalmic surgical instruments and equipment
- Ensure proper sterilization and OT readiness
- Assist with pre-operative and post-operative patient care
- Maintain OT records, checklists and inventory
- Coordinate with nursing, OT and ophthalmology teams
Preferred Candidate
- Experience in Ophthalmic OT / Eye Hospital / Surgical OT
- Knowledge of cataract, phaco and other ophthalmic procedures preferred
- Good understanding of sterile techniques and OT protocols
- Valuable communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital environment
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
