- Operate Equipment: Drive, set up, and run various cranes (such as HYDRA cranes) to lift and position loads with high precision.
- Inspect Safety: Perform daily pre-shift and post-shift safety checks on brakes, hoists, cables, and hydraulics.
- Communicate on Site: Work closely with riggers and signal persons using radios or hand signals to guide secure movements.
- Monitor Conditions: Track load weights, wind speeds, and site terrain to prevent tipping or accidents.
- Perform Maintenance: Clean equipment, lubricate moving parts, and make minor mechanical adjustments or repairs.
