Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Hair Stylist to join our salon team in Mumbai. The candidate will be responsible for providing professional hair services, understanding client requirements, recommending suitable treatments and styles, and ensuring a high-quality salon experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide professional hair services including haircuts, blow-dry, styling, hair colouring, highlights, global colour, balayage and other hair treatments.
- Consult with clients to understand their requirements, preferences and hair concerns.
- Recommend suitable hairstyles, colours, treatments and home-care products based on the client's hair type and requirements.
- Perform hair services professionally while maintaining JCB's quality and service standards.
- Ensure proper use and handling of professional hair tools, equipment and products.
- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of the workstation, tools and equipment as per salon standards.
- Build robust relationships with clients and ensure a positive customer experience.
- Maintain client records and service details where required.
- Suggest and promote suitable hair-care products and services to clients.
- Stay updated on current hair trends, techniques, products and styling methods.
- Coordinate with other salon professionals to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Handle client feedback professionally and escalate concerns to the Salon Manager when required.
- Achieve individual service, revenue and customer-retention targets as assigned.
- Follow all salon policies, grooming standards, hygiene protocols and operational procedures.

Skills & Competencies

- Strong knowledge of hair cutting, styling, colouring and treatments.
- Good understanding of different hair types,



textures and face shapes.
- Excellent client consultation and communication skills.
- Customer-service oriented with a professional attitude.
- Ability to understand client requirements and provide appropriate recommendations.
- Good knowledge of professional salon products and equipment.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Good grooming and personal presentation.
- Willingness to learn new techniques and stay updated with industry trends.

Qualification & Experience

- Qualification: Certification/Diploma in Hairdressing, Cosmetology or a related field preferred.
- Experience: 2–5 years of relevant experience in a premium/luxury salon environment preferred.
- Candidates with experience in premium salon brands will be preferred.
- Freshers with relevant professional training/certification may also be considered for junior-level positions.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
