Overview:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor who can take complete ownership of the editing process from the initial brief to the final export. The candidate will be responsible for transforming raw footage and client requirements into engaging, high-quality video content while ensuring timely delivery and maintaining strong technical and creative standards.

The ideal candidate should be able to work independently, conduct thorough quality checks, and deliver polished edits with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the complete editing process from the initial brief to final export while ensuring timely delivery.
- Translate raw footage, scripts, and client requirements into engaging and high-impact video narratives.
- Create content designed to capture audience attention, particularly within the first few seconds.
- Conduct thorough quality checks for jump cuts, audio synchronization, sound levels, colour consistency, and on-screen text.
- Ensure all final videos are polished, error-free, and ready for client delivery.
- Create and maintain well-organized project files in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, including proper folder structures, bins, sequences, and markers.
- Edit and reformat content for multiple platforms and aspect ratios, including Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, YouTube videos, and advertisement cutdowns.
- Work on motion graphics, titles, transitions, and basic visual effects as required.
- Perform basic audio cleanup, mixing, colour correction, and grading to maintain consistency across platforms.
- Use AI-powered tools for transcription, captioning, generative B-roll, scripting,



and brainstorming to improve efficiency without compromising quality.
- Maintain proper file naming, asset organization, and project archiving as per internal processes.
- Collaborate with the Creative Head and internal teams to incorporate creative direction and feedback.

Requirements:

- Graduate / Post Graduate in Film, Mass Communication, Animation, Design, or a related field.
- 1.5+ years of professional experience as a Video Editor.
- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects for motion graphics, titles, and basic VFX.
- Robust understanding of video editing, pacing, storytelling, transitions, and visual composition.
- Knowledge of basic audio editing, sound mixing, colour correction, and colour grading.
- Experience creating and adapting content for different platforms, formats, aspect ratios, and durations.
- Familiarity with AI-based editing, transcription, captioning, and content-generation tools.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on producing zero-defect final output.
- Good understanding of file management, naming conventions, project organization, and archiving.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, work within deadlines, and take ownership of deliverables.
- Strong creative thinking and ability to translate briefs into visually engaging content.
- A strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating relevant editing work is preferred.

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bandra West, Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
