Senior Solution Architect – Data, Analytics & AI

We’re looking for a Senior Solution Architect to lead the design of enterprise data, analytics and AI solutions from initial requirements through production deployment. You’ll make the key architectural and technology decisions that determine whether solutions are scalable, practical, secure and commercially viable—and you’ll stay involved through delivery to ensure the architecture works in the real world.

This is a senior, hands-on architecture role for someone who can move comfortably between customer conversations, solution design and engineering teams.

What you’ll do

- Own end-to-end solution architecture across data ingestion, integration, data engineering, warehouse/lakehouse, analytics and AI/ML capabilities.
- Translate business, user, technical and operational requirements into transparent solution architectures, high-level designs, integration flows and executable implementation plans.
- Make practical technology and build-vs-buy decisions, balancing performance, scalability, security, maintainability, infrastructure requirements and total solution cost.
- Guide engineering teams through implementation by reviewing designs, resolving architectural issues and establishing engineering and architecture standards.
- Design appropriate integration approaches using batch, CDC, streaming/event-driven and API-based patterns based on the needs of each solution.
- Troubleshoot complex data, integration, architecture and performance issues, including problems that emerge during production deployment and operation.
- Work directly with customers and internal stakeholders to explain architecture decisions,



trade-offs, risks and recommendations to both technical and business audiences.

What you’ll need

Must-haves

- Significant experience designing enterprise data and analytics solutions, with demonstrated responsibility for solution or architecture leadership.
- Strong architecture knowledge across data engineering, ETL/ELT, data modelling, enterprise warehouses or lakehouses, analytics/reporting and modern integration patterns.
- Proven ability to turn complex business and technical requirements into practical architectures, technology choices and delivery plans.
- Experience making architecture decisions involving scalability, performance, security, cloud infrastructure, maintainability and cost.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, including the ability to work directly with customers and guide engineering teams.

Nice-to-haves

Experience with several—not necessarily all—of the following would be valuable:

- Cloud and data platforms such as AWS, Azure, OCI, Databricks, Snowflake, Oracle ADW, Redshift or Synapse.
- Technologies such as Kafka, GoldenGate, Spark/PySpark, Python, SQL, Airflow, ADF, AWS Glue, Power BI, Tableau or Oracle Analytics.
- AI/ML use cases including forecasting, anomaly detection, predictive analytics,



recommendation engines, GenAI/LLM-enabled analytics or conversational BI.
- Utility-sector platforms or data domains such as Oracle Utilities C2M/NMS, metering, billing, outage, grid or asset analytics.

About the team

You’ll work closely with business analysts, engineering teams, technical leads and customer stakeholders on enterprise data, analytics and AI initiatives. The solutions may span cloud data platforms, analytics, AI/ML and large-scale integration environments, including projects within the utilities sector.

The role requires someone who can operate effectively when requirements or technologies are not fully defined at the outset and who is comfortable remaining involved from architecture through go-live.
