Job Summary

Job Description: The Senior SAP Basis & BTP Administrator serves as a technical expert responsible for the health, availability, performance, and strategic evolution of the enterprise SAP system landscape. This role bridges traditional SAP Basis administration with up-to-date cloud architecture, overseeing SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) administration, SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) operations, and AI-driven automation via SAP Joule across SAP S/4HANA, Integrated Business Planning (IBP), and concur. The position leads technical migration initiatives—specifically transitioning legacy SAP Process Orchestration (PO) workloads to BTP Integration Suite—while maintaining robust enterprise governance, performance tuning, and Data Volume Management (DVM). Job Responsibilities: • Administer and govern SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) global accounts, subaccounts, cloud connectors, entitlements, identity authentication (IAS/IPS), and service bindings. • Oversee infrastructure and application management for SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC), supporting cross-platform data management and integration. • Drive the adoption and technical setup of SAP Joule AI assistant integration across SAP S/4HANA, SAP IBP, and SAP Concur. Lead the end-to-end technical migration of legacy interfaces from SAP Process Orchestration (PO/PI) to SAP BTP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, API Management, Event Mesh). Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integration flows, OData services, and API gateways across hybrid landscapes. • Perform continuous system monitoring, workload analysis, and advanced performance tuning across SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, FIORI, Solution Manager, and associated SAP application pipelines. • Formulate and execute Data Volume Management (DVM) strategies, including data archiving, table reorgs, and HANA database memory optimization. • Manage requests and transport flow pipelines using SAP Change Request Management (ChaRM) and Transport Management System (TMS). • Support, maintain, and tune relational databases (SAP HANA, MS SQL) and underlying operating systems (Linux, Windows). • Partner with infrastructure teams to design, test, and maintain High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions to ensure system resiliency meets corporate SLAs. • Create standard operating procedures (SOPs), system architecture diagrams,



and technical operational playbooks. Required Experience: • Overall IT Experience: 7–10+ years of overall experience in IT systems administration and enterprise technical architecture. • Core Basis Expertise: 8+ years of experience administering large-scale SAP landscapes (S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, FIORI, Solution Manager, GRC, GTS, SLT) along with deep knowledge of SAP HANA and relational databases. • BTP & Cloud Platforms: Demonstrated experience in SAP BTP setup, cloud connectivity, platform governance, and SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC). • Integration Migration: Hands-on background executing migration projects from SAP PO to SAP BTP Integration Suite. • SAP Joule Integrations: Hands-on experience configuring and integrating SAP Joule across SAP S/4HANA, SAP IBP, and SAP Concur environments. • Transport & Volume Management: Proven working knowledge of SAP ChaRM for transport management and practical expertise implementing Data Volume Management (DVM) frameworks. • Operating Systems: Proficient in administering SAP workloads running on Enterprise Linux (SLES/RHEL) and Windows Server operating systems. • Working knowledge of SAP SaaS applications - SAP CPI, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP Ariba, Success factors desired. Education: B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent combination of formal education and relevant work experience

Key Responsibilities
