Key Responsibilities:

1. Die Manufacturing & Assembly

- Manufacture and assemble dies, molds, jigs, and fixtures as per drawings and specifications.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD designs accurately.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy and quality standards during die making.

2. Tool Room Operations

- Operate conventional, milling, grinding, lathe, and drilling machines.
- Perform fitting, finishing, and alignment of die components.
- Ensure proper selection of tools, materials, and machining parameters.

3. Maintenance & Repair

- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of dies and molds.
- Troubleshoot issues related to die performance and take corrective actions.
- Modify dies as per production or design changes.

4. Quality Control

- Use measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and gauges.
- Ensure all tools meet required tolerances and quality standards.
- Maintain proper documentation of inspection and testing.

5. Process Improvement





- Suggest improvements in die design and manufacturing processes.
- Work closely with production and design teams to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.

6. Safety & Compliance

- Follow all safety procedures and tool room standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization (5S) in the tool room.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and quality systems.

Required Skills & Competencies:

- Robust knowledge of die making, tool room practices, and machining processes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Hands-on experience in conventional machines
- Knowledge of materials, heat treatment, and tolerances
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Attention to detail and precision-oriented approach
- Basic knowledge of CAD/CAM will be an added advantage

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
