The Music Teacher will be responsible for teaching and training students in Tabla, Harmonium, and Octapad and guiding them in regular music practice and performances.

Candidates with additional skills in Vocal Music will be preferred. The ideal candidate should be passionate about music, patient with students, and capable of conducting structured music classes and practice sessions.

The selected candidate must be willing to stay on the Gurukul campus.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct regular music classes for students.
- Teach students Tabla, Harmonium, and Octapad.
- Train students in basic to intermediate-level musical techniques.
- Conduct practical music practice sessions.
- Develop students' rhythm, timing, coordination, and musical understanding.
- Prepare students for school functions, cultural programs, competitions, and special events.
- Identify students with musical interest and help develop their talent.
- Organise individual and group music practice sessions.
- Teach basic knowledge of Indian music, rhythm, beats, and musical instruments.
- Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment during music classes.
- Encourage students to participate in musical and cultural activities.
- Coordinate with the school/hostel administration for music-related programs.
- Maintain and take proper care of musical instruments provided by the organisation.
- Report any damage or maintenance requirements related to instruments.
- Support other cultural and musical activities as assigned by management.

Requirements

- 12th Pass or Degree in any discipline.
- 1–2 years of relevant music teaching/training experience preferred.
- Freshers with strong practical musical skills can also apply.
- Good practical knowledge of Tabla, Harmonium, and Octapad.
- Knowledge of Vocal Music will be an added advantage.
