About the Role

SRV Agadi Hospital is looking for a financial counselor to support patients and their families with treatment cost estimates, hospital packages, insurance, billing, payment options, and admission-related financial counseling.

The role will also involve patient counseling, inquiry follow-up, service conversion, relationship management, and revenue-support activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel patients and attendants regarding treatment costs, packages, estimates, deposits, billing, and payment options.
- Explain hospital services, treatment packages, and financial procedures clearly.
- Coordinate with billing, insurance/TPA, front office, doctors, and other hospital departments.
- Assist patients with insurance verification and required documentation.
- Follow up on patient inquiries and support admission/conversion.
- Handle patient queries related to billing, insurance, packages, and payments.
- Maintain regular follow-up with prospective patients and attendants.
- Support patient acquisition, conversion, and assigned targets.
- Maintain good relationships with patients,



corporate clients, and referral sources.
- Prepare reports related to counseling, inquiries, conversions, and revenue.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient and financial information.

Candidate Profile

- Graduate in any discipline.
- 1–5 years of experience in hospital/healthcare preferred.
- Candidates from Patient Counselling, Financial Counselling, IP Billing, OP Billing, Insurance/TPA, Patient Relations, Front Office, Healthcare Sales, or Hospital Marketing can apply.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong counseling, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
- Target-oriented with good customer-handling abilities.
- Basic knowledge of hospital billing and insurance is preferred.
- Kannada and English communication skills preferred.
- Candidates with robust communication and sales skills may also be considered.
