About the Role

We are looking for a confident and motivated Educational Consultant to join our team in Kochi. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and counselling skills, a good understanding of the education market, and the ability to guide students and parents in choosing suitable education opportunities.

The role involves counselling students, handling enquiries, following up with leads, converting prospects, and contributing to the growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel students and parents regarding suitable educational programs and opportunities.
- Understand student requirements, academic background, career goals, and preferences.
- Provide accurate information about courses, universities, admission processes, and requirements.
- Handle incoming enquiries and conduct regular outbound calls to prospective students.
- Follow up with leads through calls, WhatsApp, email, and other communication channels.
- Convert qualified leads into successful applications/admissions.
- Maintain strong relationships with students and provide support throughout the admission journey.
- Achieve individual and team counselling, conversion, and admission targets.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, applications, and conversions.
- Identify new opportunities to generate leads and expand student reach.
- Stay updated on universities, courses, admission requirements, and education market trends.




- Work closely with the admissions, documentation, and university relations teams.
- Provide regular updates on sales/counselling activities and performance.

Requirements

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong counselling and convincing abilities.
- Good calling and follow-up skills.
- Strong understanding of sales and lead conversion.
- Good knowledge of the education market and student requirements.
- Ability to build trust and maintain professional relationships with students and parents.
- Target-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated.
- Good negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working in an on-site, target-driven environment.
- Experience in educational consulting, student counselling, sales, business development, or a related field will be an advantage.
