Job Role:

We are a Dubai-based surveying company expanding our operations to Adoor and are looking for motivated Drafting Professionals to join our growing team.

Responsible for preparing and processing civil engineering and utility drawings using Autodesk Civil 3D, including dry and wet utility networks, surface creation, COGO points, profiles, alignments, grading, and GIS data integration.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare 2D/3D civil engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

Create and edit Existing Ground (EG) and Proposed Ground (FG) surfaces.

Import, manage, and process COGO points, survey data, point files, and field data.

Prepare contours, spot elevations, profiles, sections, and surface models.

Design and draft wet utilities, including:

Stormwater drainage

Sewer networks

Water supply networks

Manholes and chambers

Prepare and draft dry utility networks, including:

Electrical

Telecom

Street lighting

Other underground services

Create pipe networks, pressure networks, profiles, and utility crossings in Civil 3D.

Prepare plan and profile drawings for utility and infrastructure projects.

Work with GIS data, including shapefiles, feature classes, coordinate systems, and spatial data.

Convert and integrate survey, GIS, CAD,



LiDAR, and point-cloud-derived data into Civil 3D workflows.

Perform surface comparison, cut/fill analysis, volume calculations, and elevation analysis.

Ensure drawings comply with project standards, layer standards, coordinate systems, and client requirements.

Carry out drawing checking, QA/QC, and corrections before submission.

Coordinate with surveyors, GIS teams, engineers, and project managers.

Preferred Qualification

Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering, Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field.

Experience

2–5 years of relevant experience in Civil 3D, utility drafting, survey processing, GIS, or infrastructure projects.
