Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated IT Support Intern to join our team and assist with day-to-day technical support, troubleshooting, and IT operations. This role is ideal for someone who wants to gain practical experience in IT support and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide basic technical support to employees for hardware, software, and system-related issues.
- Troubleshooting different kinds of issues.
- Assist with software installation, configuration, and updates.
- Support user account setup, access management, and basic system configuration.
- Maintain records of IT assets, devices, and support requests.
- Assist in diagnosing and resolving network and connectivity issues.
- Coordinate with the IT team for escalated technical issues.
- Ensure IT equipment is properly maintained and functional.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding activities from an IT support perspective.
- Follow company IT policies, security guidelines, and procedures.
Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed a B.Tech/B.E./BCA/B.Sc. in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Windows OS and common productivity tools.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and work in a team environment.
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts such as IP, DNS, DHCP, and LAN.
- Familiarity with hardware troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding of IT security and data protection.
- Exposure to helpdesk or ticketing tools is an added advantage.
