Job Summary:

Baddi University is seeking a passionate and qualified individual for the role of Assistant Professor in the Department of Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT)/Medical Laboratory Sciences (MLS). The ideal candidate should possess strong academic and clinical knowledge, a commitment to teaching, and an aptitude for research and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver engaging and up-to-date lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions to undergraduate students in MLT/MLS.
- Supervise laboratory sessions ensuring safety, accuracy, and relevance of clinical techniques.
- Develop course materials, assessment tools, and lesson plans in accordance with university standards.
- Guide student research projects, internships, and dissertations.




- Contribute to departmental activities, curriculum development, and academic planning.
- Participate in scholarly research, seminars, workshops, and conferences.
- Mentor students in academic and career planning.
- Maintain records, prepare reports, and participate in departmental meetings.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Minimum Qualification: M.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology / Medical Laboratory Sciences or equivalent from a recognized university.
- Experience: 1–2 years of teaching/research/industry experience preferred. Fresh postgraduates with strong academic background may also apply.

Required Skills:

- Strong command over core MLT subjects such as Clinical Biochemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Histopathology, and Immunology.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Hands-on knowledge of laboratory equipment and diagnostic tools.
- Ability to mentor and guide students in practical and research activities.
- Commitment to academic integrity, innovation, and continuous learning.
