Profile – Production Manager

Experience: 8–12 years

Salary Range-80k to 1.20LPA
Working Days – 6 days company

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to manage end-to-end factory production for retail furniture, store fixtures, and interior fit-out projects. The role will be responsible for production planning, manpower and material management, quality, productivity, cost control, and timely dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on project priorities and delivery commitments.
- Manage production of retail furniture, display units, counters, wall units, kiosks, and customized store fixtures.
- Review production drawings, BOQs, cutting lists, and material requirements before starting production.
- Coordinate closely with Design, Projects, Procurement, Stores, Quality, and Dispatch teams.
- Allocate manpower and machines effectively to achieve production targets.
- Monitor woodworking, panel processing, CNC, edge banding, assembly, polishing/finishing, metal integration, and final packing activities.
- Ensure availability and optimum utilization of plywood, MDF, laminates, veneers, hardware, glass, metal, and other materials.
- Monitor production progress against planned timelines and take corrective action in case of delays.
- Ensure products are manufactured as per approved drawings, specifications, dimensions, and quality standards.
- Reduce material wastage, rework, rejection, and production downtime.
- Maintain productivity and control production costs while meeting quality and delivery requirements.
- Coordinate with Project Managers to prioritize urgent projects and ensure committed dispatch dates are achieved.
- Conduct regular production and quality reviews with supervisors and team leaders.




- Ensure proper maintenance and safe operation of factory machinery and equipment.
- Maintain production MIS, daily output reports, material consumption records, rejection/rework reports, and dispatch plans.
- Identify production bottlenecks and continuously improve factory processes and productivity.
- Ensure proper housekeeping, safety standards, and discipline across the production floor.
- Train, guide, and manage supervisors, machine operators, carpenters, helpers, and other production staff.

Candidate Requirements

- 8–12 years of production experience, preferably in Retail Furniture / Store Fixtures / Interior Fit-Out / Joinery manufacturing.
- Solid knowledge of furniture manufacturing and joinery processes.
- Good understanding of plywood, MDF, laminates, veneers, hardware, metal, glass, and finishing materials.
- Ability to understand AutoCAD/shop drawings, BOQs, cutting lists, and production drawings.
- Experience managing factory manpower, production planning, quality, and dispatch.
- Knowledge of CNC and other woodworking machinery will be preferred.
- Strong leadership, planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and tight delivery schedules simultaneously.
