Job Description – Project Manager

Job Summary

The Project Manager – Onsite Diagnostics is responsible for the end-to-end implementation

of onsite diagnostic laboratory projects. The role involves planning, execution, coordination,

and successful commissioning of projects while ensuring operational readiness, quality

compliance, and seamless handover to the Operations team.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Implementation

 Lead end-to-end implementation of onsite diagnostic laboratory projects.

 Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and implementation schedules.

 Monitor project milestones and ensure timely completion within scope and budget.

 Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans.

Site Assessment & Laboratory Setup

 Conduct site feasibility assessments and infrastructure evaluations.

 Coordinate laboratory layout planning, civil work, electrical, networking, HVAC, and utility

requirements.

 Ensure complete laboratory readiness before Go-Live.

Equipment & Infrastructure

 Coordinate procurement, installation, calibration, and validation of laboratory equipment.

 Ensure availability of furniture, consumables, reagents, IT infrastructure, and branding

materials.

 Liaise with vendors for timely delivery and commissioning.

Cross-Functional Coordination

 Work closely with Sales, Operations, Laboratory, HR, IT, Procurement, Finance, Marketing,

and Quality teams.

 Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and training of laboratory staff.

 Ensure seamless communication among all stakeholders.

Client & Stakeholder Management

 Act as the single point of contact for clients throughout the implementation phase.

 Build solid relationships with hospital administrators, corporate clients, consultants, and

business partners.

 Conduct project review meetings and provide regular progress updates.

Regulatory & Quality Compliance

 Ensure compliance with NABL guidelines,



biomedical waste management rules, and statutory

requirements.

 Coordinate documentation for licensing, registrations, and accreditation.

 Support internal and external audits.

Operational Readiness & Handover

 Ensure operational readiness before project Go-Live.

 Conduct final inspections and readiness assessments.

 Handover the operational site to the Operations team with complete documentation.

 Support the stabilization phase after project launch.

Budget & Reporting

 Monitor project budgets and control implementation costs.

 Prepare project MIS, dashboards, and status reports for Management.

 Track KPIs, resource utilization, timelines, and project performance.

Qualifications

 Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Medical Laboratory Technology, Biotechnology,

Healthcare Management or a related field.

 MBA in Healthcare Management, Operations, or Project Management is preferred.

Experience

 5–10 years of experience in Diagnostics, Pathology, Healthcare, or Hospital Operations.

 Hands-on experience in laboratory setup, onsite diagnostics implementation, or healthcare

infrastructure projects.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
