Position Overview

We are seeking a responsible and technically competent Production Supervisor to oversee day-to-day shop-floor operations and ensure that production targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and as per defined quality standards.

The incumbent will be responsible for manpower deployment, production monitoring, process discipline, quality coordination, machine utilization, and timely completion of production plans.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and monitor day-to-day production activities on the shop floor.
- Ensure achievement of daily and monthly production targets as per the production plan.
- Allocate manpower and workstations effectively according to production requirements.
- Monitor production processes and ensure adherence to SOPs, work instructions, and standard operating parameters.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machines, materials, and tools.
- Monitor machine performance and coordinate with the Maintenance team for breakdowns and preventive maintenance.




- Identify production bottlenecks and take immediate corrective action.
- Monitor and control rejection, rework, scrap, and process losses.
- Coordinate with the Quality team to resolve quality issues and maintain required quality standards.
- Ensure proper material availability at workstations in coordination with Stores/PPC.
- Maintain proper shift-wise production records, rejection reports, downtime reports, and other production MIS.
- Ensure proper implementation of 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and workplace discipline.
- Ensure operators follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and EHS guidelines.
- Conduct shift handovers and communicate production status, pending jobs, quality issues, and breakdowns.
- Monitor operator performance and provide necessary guidance and on-job training.
- Ensure proper handling and maintenance of machines, tools, fixtures, gauges, and other production equipment.
- Support current product trials, process improvements, line balancing, and productivity improvement initiatives.
- Escalate major production, quality, manpower, or machine-related issues to the Production Manager/Head.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
