About the Role

We are looking for an AWS Platform Engineer to support the development of a governed Enterprise AI Platform on AWS. The role will focus on building reusable cloud infrastructure, automation frameworks, deployment patterns, and platform services that enable secure and scalable AI workloads.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with AWS, CDK/IaC, networking, platform engineering, CI/CD, automation, and cloud security, along with a good understanding of AI/GenAI terminology and concepts.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain reusable AWS CDK / Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates and deployment frameworks.
- Design and automate AWS infrastructure, VPCs, networking, security, and platform services.
- Build standardized and reusable environment provisioning and deployment patterns across development, testing, and production environments.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments.
- Support version control, release management, rollback mechanisms, and environment automation.
- Develop secure and scalable AWS platform foundations for AI/GenAI workloads.
- Work with services such as Amazon Bedrock, AWS AgentCore, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, IAM, VPC, S3, Lambda, and other AWS services.
- Support integration of AI agents with enterprise applications and services through appropriate APIs and MCP (Model Context Protocol)-based integration patterns.
- Implement platform-level security, IAM, governance, logging, monitoring, and compliance controls.
- Enable observability using Amazon CloudWatch, OpenTelemetry, CloudTrail, dashboards, and monitoring solutions.




- Support FinOps and cloud cost-optimization practices across the platform.
- Collaborate with AI/ML engineers, DevOps engineers, security teams, architects, and application teams.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking, and platform-related issues.
- Contribute to documentation, knowledge transfer, and operational enablement of the internal platform team.

Mandatory Skills

- 5+ years of experience in AWS Cloud / Platform Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS CDK and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Strong understanding of AWS networking, including VPC, subnets, routing, security groups, NACLs, and connectivity.
- Experience automating AWS infrastructure and environments.
- Robust experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with Git-based version control and deployment automation.
- Good understanding of AWS IAM, security, governance, and access management.
- Hands-on experience with CloudWatch and CloudTrail.
- Experience with scripting/automation using Python, Bash, or similar technologies.
- Understanding of containerization and cloud-native architectures.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of AI/GenAI terminology, including:
- Generative AI
- LLMs




- AI Agents / Agentic AI

Good to Have

- Experience with Amazon Bedrock and AWS AgentCore.
- Experience supporting GenAI / Agentic AI platforms.
- Knowledge of MCP (Model Context Protocol) and AI-agent integrations.
- Experience with OpenTelemetry and distributed observability.
- Experience with FinOps / AWS cost optimization.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes / EKS and container orchestration.
- Experience with Terraform in addition to AWS CDK.
- Understanding of enterprise identity and security solutions.
- Exposure to integrations with platforms such as ServiceNow, Microsoft 365, SuccessFactors, or enterprise repositories.
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise cloud environments.
