Data Solution Architect

Location: Bengaluru

Rate: £120–£130/day

Initial Contract: 6 months

C2H (Contract-to-Hire): 6-month contract with the opportunity to be

hired directly by the client afterward.

Design and implement scalable, cloud-native data solutions across OLAP and

OLTP architectures, applying advanced data management and governance

practices. Provide technical leadership on modern data platforms for both

analytical and operational use cases.

Key Responsibilities

Design Data Lake and Operational Data Store (ODS) architectures using

cloud-native technologies.

Define and enforce Data Mesh principles for decentralised data ownership

and governance.

Design batch and real-time data ingestion pipelines using Apache Kafka and

other streaming technologies.

Build scalable ETL/ELT processes for data cleansing, validation, and

transformation.

Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models for analytical and

operational use cases.

Cloud and advanced analytics: Use AWS services (S3, Glue, Redshift,

Lambda, Kinesis, SageMaker) for storage, processing, and ML workflows;

ensure solutions are cloud-native, secure, and optimised for performance and

cost.

Governance and quality: Implement data quality frameworks, metadata

management, and lineage tracking; define data standards, policies, and best





practices with stakeholders.

Collaboration and leadership: Work with data product owners, engineers, and

business teams; provide technical leadership and mentorship to data

engineering teams.

Skills & Experience

Proven data architecture and engineering experience in large-scale enterprise

environments.

Strong knowledge of Data Lake, ODS, and Data Mesh architectures.

Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming.

Proficient in data ingestion, cleansing, validation, and modelling.

Expertise in AWS services (S3, Glue, Airflow, SageMaker Unified Studio,

Apache Kafka, Amazon QuickSight, etc.).

Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and stakeholder-

management skills.

Domain: Banking experience, preferably Transaction Banking within the

Commercial LOB.

Success Measures

Scalable, secure, cloud-native data platforms delivered for both OLAP and

OLTP use cases.

Data Mesh principles and governance adopted for decentralised ownership.

Reliable batch and real-time ingestion pipelines in production.

Robust data quality, metadata, and lineage supporting trusted analytics and

operations.

Optimised performance

Pay: Up to ₹4,500,000.00 per year
