We are looking for an experienced Vendor Development professional to manage vendor identification, development, evaluation, and performance monitoring. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Plastic / Automotive manufacturing, vendor management, and coordination with Purchase, Quality, and Engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and develop new vendors as per company requirements.
- Handle vendor onboarding, documentation, evaluation, and approval processes.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Quality, Engineering, and Production teams for vendor evaluation and audits.
- Monitor vendor performance based on Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Service (QCDS).
- Maintain vendor databases, records, and compliance documentation.
- Support RFQ, price negotiation, cost comparison, and cost benchmarking activities.
- Follow up with vendors for corrective and preventive actions related to quality issues.
- Conduct vendor visits and support vendor development activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality, cost, and delivery performance.
- Ensure vendors comply with company requirements, statutory regulations, quality standards,



and customer requirements.
- Read and understand basic 2D engineering drawings for vendor development and evaluation.
- Travel to vendor locations as required.

Required Experience

- 10–12 years of experience in Vendor Development, Purchase, Supply Chain, Procurement, or Manufacturing.
- Experience in Plastic Industry / Automotive Industry will be preferred.
- Strong exposure to vendor development, vendor evaluation, negotiations, and performance monitoring.
- Candidates with experience in automotive components / plastic components will be preferred.

Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality standards.
- Ability to read and understand basic 2D drawings.
- Valuable knowledge of vendor development and procurement processes.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel to vendor locations.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
