JD for the Role of Finance/Senior Finance Manager

Education: B.Com/M.Com /Inter CA / or equivalent qualification; MBA in Finance will be an added advantage

- Experience: 8-10 years of progressive experience with minimum 5 years in financial leadership role in the Service and Manufacturing industry

▪ Proficiency in Tamil, English and Hindi preferred

▪ Work Location: SD Group Chennai. ▪ Age below 40-45 years. Skills ▪ Proficiency in ERP systems, financial modeling, and analytics.

▪ Strategic and analytical thinking with a focus on results.

▪ Proven expertise in strategic planning, risk management, and operational efficiency.

▪ Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

▪ Solid knowledge and understanding of Direct (Income Tax) and Indirect (GST) taxation, financial principles, accounting standards, compliance frameworks, and company law procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Leadership

- Develop and execute the organization's financial strategy to support long-term goals.
- Provide insights and recommendations to the management on financial performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Drive initiatives to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.

Financial Reporting and Analysis

- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements,



and cash flow reports.
- Present accurate and timely financial reports to the stakeholders on receivables and Collectibles
- Provide data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making.

Budgeting and Forecasting

- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Monitor performance against budgets, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions

Team Leadership and Development

- Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team to achieve high performance.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide professional development opportunities. Cost and Efficiency Management
- Drive cost-saving initiatives and implement effective cost-control measures.
- Monitor project costs, operational expenses, and overheads to enhance profitability.
