About the Role

Apply Supply Solutions is looking for a Billing & Estimation Engineer to manage project estimation, quantity take-offs, client billing, measurements, cost tracking and commercial coordination for waterproofing and construction projects.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working between site and office and should be able to independently prepare estimates and RA bills while coordinating with project supervisors, clients and the management team.

Key Responsibilities1. Estimation & Tendering

- Study BOQs, drawings, specifications and tender documents.
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs.
- Prepare project estimates and rate analysis.
- Calculate material, labour and equipment requirements.
- Prepare quotations and commercial proposals.
- Identify additional/extra items and variations.
- Assist management in evaluating project profitability before accepting work.

2. Client Billing

- Prepare RA bills and final bills.
- Prepare measurement sheets and abstracts.
- Coordinate with client engineers for joint measurements.
- Submit bills and track certification.
- Maintain records of deductions, retention, GST/TDS and other recoveries.
- Follow up with clients for bill certification and payment status.
- Prepare variation and extra-item bills.

3. Project Cost Control

- Maintain project-wise cost sheets.
- Track material consumption against estimated quantities.
- Monitor labour costs and productivity.
- Compare estimated cost vs actual cost.




- Highlight cost overruns and potential losses to management.
- Prepare project-wise profitability reports.

4. Site Coordination

- Visit sites for measurements and quantity verification.
- Coordinate with Project Coordinators and Supervisors.
- Verify executed quantities before billing.
- Check that work executed matches the BOQ/specification.
- Coordinate documentation required for client billing.

5. MIS & Management Reporting

Prepare weekly/monthly reports covering:

- Order book
- Work executed
- Billing submitted
- Billing certified
- Collections
- Outstanding receivables
- Material consumption
- Labour cost
- Project cost
- Project profitability
- Balance quantities
- Variation/extra work

Experience with PU coating, APP/HDPE membrane, crystalline waterproofing, injection grouting, terrace waterproofing, sunken waterproofing, STP/water tanks and retaining-wall works will be an advantage.

Within the first 90 days, the selected candidate should be able to:

First 30 Days

- Understand all active projects.
- Organise BOQs and work orders.
- Prepare pending billing tracker.
- Prepare receivables tracker.

30–60 Days

- Independently prepare RA bills.
- Track measurements and certifications.
- Start project-wise cost tracking.
- Maintain material reconciliation.

60–90 Days

- Independently manage billing for assigned projects.
- Prepare estimates and rate analysis.
- Track project profitability.
- Report commercial risks to management.

Salary & Growth

₹25,000–₹35,000/month, depending on experience and practical skills.

Performance incentives may be provided based on billing accuracy, timely bill submission, certification, collection support and commercial performance.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow into a Senior QS / Commercial Manager / Project Commercial Head role as the company expands.
