- Reading Blueprints: Interpreting technical drawings and schematics to plan system layouts and accurate pipe placement.
- Fabricating and Cutting: Measuring, cutting, threading, bending, and shaping metal and alloy pipes using specialized tools and torches.
- Assembling Systems: Joining pipes together through welding, brazing, soldering, threading, or mechanical couplings.
- Installing Supports: Placing brackets, hangers, valves, and control mechanisms to secure heavy infrastructure.
- Testing and Inspecting: Performing pressure and hydrostatic tests to detect leaks or malfunctions before systems become operational.
- Maintenance and Repair: Conducting routine checkups and emergency fixes in power plants, refineries, and manufacturing facilities.
