Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Commis Chef – South Indian to join our Food Production team. The candidate will assist in the preparation and presentation of authentic South Indian dishes while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in preparing South Indian dishes as per standard recipes.
- Handle preparation of dosa, idli, vada, sambar, chutneys, curries, and other South Indian dishes.
- Ensure proper mise en place before service.
- Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of the workstation and kitchen equipment.
- Properly store and label food ingredients.
- Minimize food wastage and maintain portion control.
- Coordinate with senior chefs and other kitchen team members.
- Follow hotel policies,



SOPs, and kitchen safety procedures.

Candidate Requirements:

- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a hotel/restaurant kitchen.
- Knowledge of South Indian cuisine is essential.
- Hotel Management / Culinary qualification preferred.
- Good knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
