Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Factory / Site Supervisor with 5–8 years of experience in furniture manufacturing, factory operations, site supervision, or interior/furniture production.

The candidate will be responsible for factory and site supervision, furniture manufacturing activities, drawing interpretation, material knowledge, manpower management, production planning, quality inspection, and coordination with various departments.

Key ResponsibilitiesFactory & Site Supervision

- Supervise day-to-day furniture manufacturing and site installation activities.
- Monitor production activities and ensure work is completed according to drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate factory production with site requirements and project schedules.
- Ensure proper workflow from raw material to finished furniture.
- Monitor work progress and resolve shop-floor/site issues.

Drawing & Furniture Knowledge

- Read and understand AutoCAD drawings, furniture drawings, layouts, sections and fabrication details.
- Interpret technical drawings and explain requirements to production teams and workers.
- Ensure furniture is manufactured as per approved drawings and dimensions.
- Coordinate with design/engineering teams for drawing-related clarifications.

Material Knowledge

- Strong practical knowledge of MDF, plywood, particle board, HDF, laminates, veneer and solid wood.
- Knowledge of furniture hardware, fittings, hinges, channels, handles, fasteners and accessories.
- Verify material quality, specifications and quantities before production.
- Monitor material utilization and minimize wastage.

Manpower Management





- Manage and allocate manpower according to daily production requirements.
- Supervise carpenters, CNC operators, helpers, polishers, assemblers and other production workers.
- Prepare daily work allocation and monitor individual/team performance.
- Maintain discipline, productivity and safety on the shop floor.
- Coordinate with contractors and skilled/unskilled manpower where required.

Production Management

- Plan and monitor daily production activities.
- Ensure production targets and project deadlines are achieved.
- Coordinate with CNC, carpentry, assembly, polishing and finishing teams.
- Identify bottlenecks and take corrective action.
- Monitor machine utilization and production efficiency.

Quality Inspection

- Inspect furniture components and finished products at different stages of production.
- Check dimensions, finishing, alignment, joints, edges, hardware fitting and overall workmanship.
- Ensure products conform to approved drawings and quality standards.
- Identify defects, rejection and rework requirements.
- Coordinate corrective actions with the concerned production team.

Site Installation

- Supervise furniture installation at project sites when required.
- Ensure proper installation, alignment, finishing and fitting.
- Coordinate with site teams, contractors and other agencies.
- Resolve site-level technical and execution issues.

Qualification

ITI / Diploma / Graduate in Furniture Technology, Mechanical, Production, Civil, Interior Design, or a related field.

Relevant practical experience in furniture manufacturing will be given strong consideration.
