Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Primary English Teacher to teach English to students in Grades 1–5. The candidate should be able to create an engaging, child-friendly classroom environment and develop students' reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, vocabulary, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver effective English lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum.
- Teach English language, grammar, vocabulary, reading and writing skills.
- Develop students' spoken English and communication skills through interactive activities.
- Use activity-based, experiential and child-centred teaching methods.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, teaching aids, assignments and assessments.
- Conduct storytelling, reading, role-play, discussions, presentations and creative writing activities.
- Monitor students' academic progress and provide individual support where required.
- Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment.
- Conduct assessments and maintain accurate academic records.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate with parents when required.
- Participate in school events, assemblies, competitions and other activities.




- Collaborate with coordinators and fellow teachers for effective academic planning.
- Make effective use of ICT and digital teaching resources.

Eligibility & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in English / Education / relevant field.
- B.Ed./D.El.Ed. or relevant teaching qualification preferred.
- Prior experience teaching English at the Primary level preferred.
- CBSE school experience will be an added advantage.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
- Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills.
