About SportUp

SportUp is building the operating system and marketplace for the health & fitness industry, helping sports facilities, gyms, studios, academies, and coaches operate, grow, and reach more customers.

We are looking for a highly motivated and entrepreneurial *Business Development Associate – Founder's Office* to work directly with the founding team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in strategy, business development, partnerships, operations, and growth while contributing to the expansion of SportUp.

Key Responsibilities

* Work closely with the founders on strategic initiatives and business growth projects.

* Identify, engage, and onboard sports facilities, fitness centers, academies, and coaching partners.

* Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities.

* Build and maintain relationships with potential clients, partners, and stakeholders.

* Assist in partnership discussions, negotiations, and onboarding processes.

* Support the execution of sales and business development campaigns.





* Track key business metrics and prepare reports for the leadership team.

* Coordinate with operations, marketing, and product teams to ensure smooth execution of projects.

* Manage special projects and founder-led initiatives from planning to execution.

* Represent SportUp at networking events, industry meetups, and partner meetings.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Sports Management, or a related field.

* 0–3 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Operations, Consulting, or Startup Ecosystems.

* Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

* Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and presentation tools.

* Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working in a rapid-paced startup environment.

* Passion for sports, fitness, and technology is a plus.
