Job Summary

An SAP Ariba Sourcing acts as a strategic leader, overseeing the end-to-end digital procurement process, managing the sourcing team, and maximizing the value of the SAP Ariba platform across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Define global sourcing strategies, category management goals, and governance policies within the SAP Ariba environment.

Team Management: Direct and mentor a team of sourcing specialists, buyers, and technical analysts to execute procurement projects efficiently.

Platform Ownership: Oversee the optimization of SAP Ariba Sourcing, Guided Sourcing, and Contract Management modules.

Supplier Relationship Management (SRM): Lead high-stakes vendor negotiations, evaluate strategic supplier performance, and mitigate supply chain risks.

System Roadmap & Governance: Partner with IT to plan Ariba system upgrades, cloud integration (CIG/Managed Gateway), and master data governance.

Executive Reporting:



Deliver regular procurement analytics, savings reports, and compliance metrics to executive leadership.

Skill Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or IT; an MBA or master's degree is highly preferred.

Experience: 10 to 15+ years in procurement or supply chain management, with at least 5+ years in a leadership or managerial role.

Technical Expertise: Deep functional knowledge of SAP Ariba Upstream modules (Sourcing, Contracts, Supplier Lifecycle and Performance) and SAP ERP/S4HANA integration.

Core Competencies: Proven track record of contract negotiation, change management, financial acumen, and cross-functional leadership.

Credentials: Certified SAP Application Associate (Ariba Sourcing/Contracts) or CPSM/CIPS designations are a robust asset.
