Job Description for Pre-Primary Teacher

Roles & Responsibilities

- Plan and conduct engaging, age-appropriate learning activities.
- Teach through play, stories, rhymes, art and hands-on activities.
- Support children’s language, social, emotional and cognitive development.
- Prepare lesson plans and classroom learning materials.
- Observe and track each child’s learning progress.
- Maintain a secure, positive and child-friendly classroom.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding the child’s progress.
- Participate in school events, activities and teacher meetings.

Requirements

- Graduate with a relevant Early Childhood Education/Teaching qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of Pre-Primary/Early Years teaching experience preferred.
- Good communication and classroom management skills.
- Experience with the Cambridge Early Years curriculum will be an added advantage.
- Passionate about working with young children.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
