About the Role
We are seeking a talented and creative 3D Artist to join our team in crafting high-quality 3D assets for interactive and immersive applications, including AR and VR experiences.
Responsibilities
- Model high-quality 3D assets (props, environments, stylized or realistic) using Blender.
- Texture assets using Substance Painter, Substance Designer, and Photoshop, following industry-standard PBR workflows.
- Generate procedural and custom materials using Substance Sampler and Designer.
- Optimize 3D assets for performance across AR/VR platforms.
- Collaborate closely with the design and development teams to ensure assets meetboth visual and technical requirements.
- Keep up with the latest trends and techniques in 3D art, AR/VR development, and real-time rendering.
Required Skills
- 2-4+ years of experience in 3D asset creation, preferably for real-time or immersive platforms.
- Solid proficiency in Blender – Modeling, UV unwrapping, low/high-poly workflows is a must.
- Substance Painter – Texture baking,
material authoring.
- Substance Designer – Procedural material creation.
- Adobe Photoshop – Detailing, texture maps, and graphic cleanup.
- Substance Sampler – Generating surface textures from scans or inputs.
- Deep understanding of PBR principles, UV layout best practices, and asset optimization.
- Demonstrates focus and ability to manage time effectively.
Nice to have
- Experience with Unity 3D, including importing assets, setting up materials, and scene assembly.
- Knowledge of ZBrush for high-poly sculpting and baking normal/displacement maps.
- Familiarity with AR/VR development pipelines (ARKit, ARCore, Oculus, etc.).
- Shader graph or custom material development in Unity.
- Animation, rigging, or lighting setup experience.
