Job Title: Accounts Executive
Location: Mohali, Punjab — Onsite
Employment Type: Full-Time/ Part-Time
Reporting To: CFO
Experience: 2–4 years of relevant, hands-on core Indian accounting experience
Department: Finance & Accounts
Working Hours: 5PM - 2AM
About the Company
Tadpoledz ARC Private Limited , is based in Mohali. As a private limited company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, the entity carries statutory obligations that go beyond routine bookkeeping — GST, TDS, and Income Tax compliance, ROC filings coordinated through a Company Secretary (CS), and MSME vendor-payment compliance. We are looking for a sharp, hands-on Accountant to independently own this full compliance and bookkeeping cycle.
About the Role
As Accountant, you will own the complete books of accounts for the India entity, manage GST and TDS compliance end-to-end, liaise directly with the Company Secretary on Companies Act / ROC filings, and track MSME vendor compliance — all while maintaining high accuracy and working within the CFO's review and approval cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Bookkeeping & Entry Creation: Voucher entry in Tally Prime, including sales, purchase, bank, cash, and general journal vouchers. All entries to be shared with the Financial Controller for review and approval.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable (AP/AR): Maintain clean aging schedules, review incoming vendor invoices, verify supporting documents, and ensure vendor payments are executed on the agreed schedule per due dates.
- GST Compliance & Refund Tracking: Compile monthly GST data (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), run GST reconciliation against GSTR-2B, track GST refund filings/status, and put up for the Financial Controller's review and approval.
- TDS Compliance:
Compute and deposit monthly TDS; prepare and file quarterly TDS returns (Form 24Q /26Q); issue TDS certificates (Form 16 / 16A); reconcile deductions against Form 26AS / TRACES.
- Income Tax Compliance: Support computation of advance tax instalments; assist with income tax return filing and tax-audit (Form 3CD) working papers; coordinate with the statutory auditor / tax consultant on assessments and notices.
- Companies Act / ROC Compliance (via Company Secretary): Liaise directly with the Company Secretary to ensure timely completion of annual ROC filings (AOC-4, MGT-7), DIR-3 KYC, board meeting and resolution documentation, statutory register maintenance, and other Companies Act, 2013 requirements.
- MSME Compliance: Identify and classify MSME (Udyam)-registered vendors, track the 45-day payment timeline under Section 43B(h) of the Income Tax Act and the MSMED Act, and maintain disclosure schedules for financial statements, tax audit, and the half-yearly MSME-1 return.
- Depreciation: Calculate monthly depreciation on fixed assets and record it after approval from the Financial Controller.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank and wallet reconciliations to ensure ledger balances mirror real-time bank balances, shared with the Financial Controller for review and approval.
- Internal Query Resolution: Act as the primary point of contact for resolving day-to-day financial, expense reimbursement, and payment queries from team members.
- Month-End Support: Assist with monthly closure,
accruals, prepaid expense adjustments, and preliminary trial balance reviews.
- Audit & Documentation: Maintain structured physical/digital records of all bills, tax receipts, bank slips, and agreements to support internal checks, statutory audit, and ROC inspections.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce (B.Com / M.Com) or MBA (Finance).
- Experience: 2–4+ years of hands-on, practical accounting experience in India, ideally within a private limited company with exposure to statutory compliance beyond routine bookkeeping.
- Software Expertise: Deep proficiency in Tally (Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime) is mandatory.
- GST & TDS Knowledge: Practical, hands-on understanding of GST rules, GSTR-2B reconciliation, and TDS computation / return filing.
- Companies Act & MSME Awareness: Working knowledge of ROC compliance requirements and MSME payment rules, or a strong willingness to learn quickly under CS guidance.
- MS Excel Skills: Solid proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIFS) for compiling financial data and reports.
- Core Competencies: Excellent tracking and follow-up skills, high numerical accuracy, discretion with confidential financial data, and clear written/verbal communication.
What We Offer
- Ownership: End-to-end ownership of compliance for a private limited company — not just bookkeeping.
- Exposure: Direct coordination with the Company Secretary, statutory auditors, and cross-border US leadership.
- Growth: Chance to build and shape the compliance function of a growing India entity, working closely with the Financial Controller.
Pay: ₹180,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
