Job Summary

Role Summary

The Active Tester Senior Specialist is responsible for planning, designing, executing, and automating test scenarios using Active Tester within Teamcenter/PLM environments. The role involves close collaboration with business users, functional consultants, developers, and client stakeholders to ensure high-quality solution delivery across implementation, migration, and upgrade projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases using Active Tester.
- Convert manual test cases into automated test scripts.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing activities.
- Work with Teamcenter modules including AWC, RAC, Workflow, BOM, Change Management, and Integrations.
- Analyze business requirements and create comprehensive test scenarios and test data.
- Track defects, perform root cause analysis, and support defect resolution.
- Generate test execution reports, dashboards, and quality metrics.
- Support CI/CD and Azure DevOps integration for automated testing.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to validate requirements and ensure coverage.
- Mentor junior testers and provide Active Tester best practices.

Required Skills

- Hands-on experience with Active Tester Automation Tool .
- Strong knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter , AWC, RAC, Workflow, BOM, and Change processes.
- Experience in test planning, test design, test execution, and defect management.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, JIRA, or similar ALM tools.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of Teamcenter integrations with SAP, NX, or other enterprise applications.
- Experience in PLM implementation, migration, or upgrade projects.
- Understanding of automation frameworks and scripting concepts.
- Certifications in Agile, Scrum, or Testing tools are an advantage.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Interface directly with client stakeholders and project leadership.
- Support estimation, planning, and resource mentoring activities.
