Key Responsibility

- Develop 2D and 3D designs for fabricated structures, assemblies, components, and sub-assemblies.
- Prepare detailed fabrication drawings, manufacturing drawings, and assembly drawings.
- Develop BOMs, part lists, material specifications, and cutting details.
- Understand customer requirements, technical specifications, and engineering drawings.
- Perform design calculations related to dimensions, material selection, load requirements, and structural strength as applicable.
- Ensure designs are suitable for manufacturing, fabrication, welding, assembly, and serviceability.
- Select appropriate materials, sections, plates, profiles, fasteners, and other fabrication components.
- Incorporate GD&T;, tolerances, welding symbols, surface finish, and other drawing requirements wherever applicable.
- Coordinate with Production and Fabrication teams to resolve design and manufacturing issues.
- Review existing designs and identify opportunities for design optimization, weight reduction, cost reduction, and process improvement.




- Modify designs based on customer feedback, engineering changes, production requirements, and quality observations.
- Support prototype development and conduct design validation through trials and testing.
- Prepare and maintain Engineering Change Notes (ECN), revision records, and design documentation.
- Coordinate with Procurement for material/component specifications and technical requirements.
- Ensure drawings and designs comply with applicable engineering standards, customer specifications, and company procedures.
- Provide technical support to Production and Quality teams during fabrication and assembly.
- Participate in root-cause analysis and corrective actions related to design or manufacturing issues.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
