- Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately and safely.
- Review prescriptions for appropriate dosage, drug interactions, allergies, contraindications, and potential medication-related issues.
- Provide patients with clear instructions regarding medication dosage, administration, precautions, side effects, and storage.
- Clarify prescription-related concerns with doctors when required.
- Maintain accurate patient medication records and pharmacy documentation.
- Monitor medication stock, expiry dates, storage conditions, and inventory levels.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of medicines in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Maintain records for controlled/scheduled medicines, where applicable.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and clinic staff regarding patient medication requirements.
- Assist in identifying and reporting adverse drug reactions or medication errors.
- Educate patients about medication adherence and appropriate use of medicines.
- Ensure the pharmacy/medicine area is clean, organized, and compliant with clinic policies.
- Place orders for medicines and supplies and coordinate with authorized suppliers.
- Check received medicines for quantity, quality, batch number, and expiry date.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient and prescription information.
- Follow all applicable pharmacy laws, qualified standards, and clinic procedures.
- Perform other pharmacy-related duties assigned by clinic management.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
