Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Solvent Plant Operator with strong practical knowledge of solvent extraction plant operations, particularly Rice Bran and Cotton Cake extraction. The candidate should have hands-on experience in the Preparatory Section, Pelletiser, Pellet Cooler, and allied equipment.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor the Solvent Extraction Plant safely and efficiently.
- Handle processing of Rice Bran and Cotton Cake through the solvent extraction process.
- Operate and monitor the Preparatory Section and ensure proper material preparation before extraction.
- Have hands-on experience in operating Pelletiser, Pellet Cooler, and allied equipment.
- Monitor plant parameters such as temperature, pressure, flow, moisture, solvent levels, and production conditions.
- Ensure proper extraction efficiency and maintain required production quality.
- Identify abnormal plant conditions and take immediate corrective action.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance Team for breakdowns and preventive maintenance.
- Monitor pumps, conveyors, elevators, fans, heat exchangers, evaporators, and other allied equipment.
- Follow all safety procedures, SOPs,



and operational standards related to solvent handling.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and ensure the plant area is clean and protected.
- Maintain production and operational records as required.
- Coordinate with the Shift In-charge / Production Manager for smooth shift operations.
- Minimize process losses, solvent losses, downtime, and wastage.
- Support troubleshooting and optimization of plant operations.

Essential Skills & Experience

- 8–10 years of relevant experience in a Solvent Extraction Plant.
- Practical experience in Rice Bran and Cotton Cake extraction is essential.
- Strong knowledge of the Preparatory Section.
- Hands-on experience with Pelletiser and Pellet Cooler machines and their allied equipment.
- Knowledge of solvent extraction process operations and plant safety.
- Ability to independently monitor and operate the plant during shifts.
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge will be an advantage.
- Willingness to work in shift operations.

Qualification

SSC / ITI – Mechanical, Fitter, Electrical, or relevant trade preferred.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates currently working or having previous experience in Rice Bran Oil / Solvent Extraction / Edible Oil Manufacturing Plants will be preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
