Jr. Chemist – Job Description

- Conduct coal sampling and analysis as per approved procedures and applicable standards.
- Perform analysis jointly with the nominated/appointed party and ensure proper coordination during testing.
- Carry out routine coal quality tests such as Moisture, Ash, Volatile Matter, Sulphur, and GCV, as applicable.
- Carry out agricultural products analysis such as Rice, Sugar, Maize etc…
- Maintain proper records of samples, test results, observations, and laboratory documentation.
- Ensure testing equipment is properly handled, maintained, and kept in suitable working condition.
- Ensure accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of test results.
- Report any discrepancy, abnormal result, or testing issue immediately to the concerned supervisor.




- Maintain a clean work area, follow strict laboratory safety guidelines, and handle hazardous materials safely.
- Follow all port safety, laboratory safety, PPE, and operational requirements at all times.
- Able to Operate equipment /instrument such as Analytical Balance, Hot Air Oven, Muffle Furnace, Sample Divider, Hot Plate, Vernier Caliper, Bomb Calorimeter etc.

Qualification- B.sc

Salary- +91-XXXXXXXXXX ( based on experience & interview )

Experience- fresher - 2 years

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
