We are looking for a skilled JD Edwards EnterpriseOne CNC Administrator to support and maintain JDE EnterpriseOne environments across highly integrated hardware and software environments.

The candidate will act as a Primary and Secondary CNC Administrator and will be responsible for EnterpriseOne installation, administration, upgrades, deployments, security, performance tuning, troubleshooting and cloud-based environments.

The ideal candidate should also have hands-on Microsoft Azure experience supporting hybrid and cloud-hosted JDE EnterpriseOne environments.

Key ResponsibilitiesJD Edwards EnterpriseOne Administration

- Administer and support integration components for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1).
- Perform E1 installations and configurations.
- Manage:
- Database Server
- Deployment Server
- Enterprise Server
- BSSV Server
- Server Manager
- Web Servers
- Perform JDE Application upgrades and Tools Release upgrades, including 9.1 and 9.2.
- Install and manage ESUs and ASUs.
- Perform package builds, full builds and update installations.
- Manage package deployments.
- Perform Server Manager administration, installation and upgrades.
- Configure and manage OCM.
- Configure Deployment Servers.
- Create new path codes and environments.
- Add new servers to existing environments.
- Configure and manage AIS.
- Install and manage BSSV.
- Configure JAS/Web Servers and troubleshoot related issues.
- Configure printers and troubleshoot FAT Client installations.
- Manage third-party E1 job scheduling tools.

CNC Support & Troubleshooting

- Troubleshoot CNC-related issues.
- Monitor system health and performance.
- Perform performance tuning and service recycling/restarts.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and prepare RCA documentation.
- Execute preventative maintenance plans.
- Monitor ticket queues and resolve incoming incidents.
- Escalate issues when required.
- Monitor and follow up on Oracle Service Requests.




- Create Service Requests with Oracle when required.
- Follow and maintain SOPs and technical documentation.
- Support Level 1 teams and work with Level 3 teams as required.
- Provide training and mentoring to other CNC administrators.

E1 System Administration

- Support FAT Client installation and troubleshooting.
- Apply ESUs and ASUs.
- Support setting configuration and path-code management.

Azure Cloud Skills

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience supporting JDE EnterpriseOne in Microsoft Azure environments.

Azure Infrastructure

- Deploy and manage JDE EnterpriseOne components on Azure Virtual Machines.
- Perform VM sizing and configuration.
- Work with availability sets/zones and disk performance tuning.
- Support hybrid on-premises and cloud-hosted E1 environments.

Networking

- Configure Azure Virtual Networks.




- Configure Network Security Groups (NSGs).
- Work with VPN Gateway and ExpressRoute.
- Support secure connectivity between on-premises and Azure-hosted E1 environments.

Monitoring

- Use Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and Application Insights.
- Monitor server health and performance counters.
- Implement proactive monitoring for JDE Enterprise, Deployment and Web Servers.

Identity & Access Management

- Manage identity and access using Microsoft Entra ID.
- Work with Conditional Access.
- Configure Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
- Support access management for CNC and infrastructure teams.

Automation

- Automate provisioning and patching using:
- Azure Automation
- PowerShell
- ARM templates
- Bicep
- Reduce manual configuration and deployment activities through automation.

Backup & Disaster Recovery

- Implement and manage Azure Backup.
- Support disaster recovery using Azure Site Recovery.
- Protect JDE database and application tiers.

Azure Storage

- Working knowledge of Azure Blob Storage and Azure Files.
- Support package deployment repositories and log archival.

Cloud Governance

- Collaborate with cloud infrastructure teams on:
- Cost optimization
- Resource tagging
- Cloud standards
- Governance
- Enterprise security
