Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Drone Pilot to join our operations in Jammu and Kashmir. The role involves flying Aebocode’s indigenous drones for testing, demonstration, surveying, surveillance support, training, and client-facing operational missions in challenging terrains. You will ensure all flights strictly comply with DGCA regulations and local security protocols while delivering precise aerial data and supporting our defence, industrial, and emergency-response solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, prepare, and execute safe drone flight missions using Aebocode multi-rotor, fixed-wing, VTOL, surveillance, cargo, and training drones.
- Conduct thorough pre-flight checks, risk assessments, and site evaluations suitable for the varied terrain and weather conditions of Jammu and Kashmir.
- Operate drones for aerial survey, mapping, surveillance, inspection, data capture, product demonstration, and pilot training activities.
- Collect high-quality imagery, video,



and sensor data; support basic processing and delivery of results as required.
- Maintain accurate flight logs, maintenance records, and compliance documentation in line with DGCA and company standards.
- Ensure full adherence to DGCA rules, Digital Sky / NPNT requirements, and any additional security or local authority guidelines applicable in the region.
- Perform routine drone maintenance, battery management, and basic troubleshooting of Aebocode systems.
- Coordinate with the technical, R&D;, and project teams; provide feedback on drone performance in real-world conditions.
- Support client demonstrations, training sessions, and field trials when required.
- Uphold the highest safety standards and promptly report any incidents, near-misses, or operational issues.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Valid DGCA Remote Pilot Certificate (RPC) for the relevant category (Small / Medium class preferred).
- Hands-on experience operating professional drones (preferably multi-rotor and/or fixed-wing/VTOL platforms).
- Strong knowledge of Indian drone regulations, airspace rules, and operational restrictions.
- Ability to work independently in field conditions and travel across locations in Jammu and Kashmir.
- Good understanding of flight planning, weather assessment, and risk management in hilly/mountainous terrain.




- Basic proficiency with flight planning software and willingness to learn Aebocode’s systems and tools.
- Physical fitness for outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
- Valid Indian driving licence (preferred).

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with surveillance, survey/mapping, cargo, or defence-related drone operations.
- Familiarity with photogrammetry, GIS tools, or data processing software.
- Prior work experience in Jammu & Kashmir or similar challenging environments.
- Additional certifications related to advanced drone operations or training.
- Fluency in English and Hindi; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
