The SAP IBP Consultant will provide L3 ownership for integrated business planning and planning integration. The role will support transition into service, stabilise operations and act as a senior point of resolution within the assigned scope.
Key Responsibilities
Service transition responsibilities
- Participate in structured knowledge transfer, shadow/reverse-shadow activities and readiness reviews.
- Validate application inventory, support boundaries, dependencies, contacts, access and escalation paths.
- Create or quality-check runbooks, SOPs, monitoring guidance, known-error records and support calendars.
- Demonstrate operational readiness through scenario walkthroughs, ticket handling and evidence-based service acceptance.
Key responsibilities
- Provide functional and technical support for SAP Integrated Business Planning.
- Investigate planning views, key figures, jobs, data integration and user access issues.
- Work with planners to resolve exceptions and protect planning-cycle continuity.
- Support configuration changes, test execution and release readiness.
- Maintain solution, integration and operational documentation.
Skill Requirements
Required experience and qualifications
- 7-10 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrable production support, incident/problem management and controlled change delivery in an enterprise environment.
- Relevant product certification required.
- Robust written and verbal communication, documentation discipline and ability to work across business, technical and vendor teams.
