We are looking for a Cloud & Data Center Architect to lead the migration of production workloads from public cloud platforms to a private colocation/data center environment. The role focuses on cloud exit, infrastructure architecture, enterprise networking, hardware/storage sizing, high availability, and cost optimization.

The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience executing at least one production cloud-to-data-center/colocation migration.

Key Responsibilities

- Audit AWS/Azure/GCP workloads including CPU, RAM, storage, IOPS, network traffic, egress, and database requirements.
- Design and size bare-metal servers, NVMe storage, networking, firewalls, and backup infrastructure.
- Design highly available N+1 / 2N compute, storage, and network architecture.
- Architect L2/L3 networking, VLANs, BGP, redundant ISP connectivity, firewall policies, and OOB management.
- Develop hardware BOMs, rack elevation diagrams, cabling plans, and infrastructure designs.
- Lead cloud-to-data-center migration, including replication, DNS cutover, rollback, and cloud decommissioning.
- Support infrastructure for MySQL, PostgreSQL, SingleStoreDB, and other high-throughput database workloads.
- Design infrastructure for Docker/Kubernetes, KVM/Proxmox, RKE2/K3s environments.
- Coordinate remotely with data center vendors and smart-hands teams using iDRAC/iLO/Redfish.
- Build Cloud vs. Colocation TCO models and identify opportunities for significant OpEx reduction.

Required Skills





- 8+ years in enterprise infrastructure, data center, and network architecture.
- Proven cloud exit / cloud repatriation experience from AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong L2/L3, VLAN, BGP, routing, firewall, and network redundancy experience.
- Experience with Palo Alto / Fortinet firewalls.
- Strong knowledge of Dell/Supermicro servers and NVMe storage.
- Experience with iDRAC, iLO, Redfish, and remote data center operations.
- Strong Linux administration and hands-on Docker/Kubernetes experience.
- Experience with KVM/Proxmox and/or RKE2/K3s.
- Understanding of database infrastructure, IOPS, latency, RAM, CPU, and network throughput.
- Ability to perform capacity planning, hardware sizing, BOM creation, and TCO analysis.

Preferred

- Experience with SingleStoreDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or distributed SQL databases.
- Experience with enterprise colocation/data center providers.
- Strong documentation, architecture, vendor-management, and technical leadership skills.

Important: Candidates must have successfully delivered at least one production cloud-to-private data center/colocation migration.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
