Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in the Mohali district. The Video Editor will assemble, edit, and refine video footage for news stories, features, and digital segments, ensuring alignment with editorial guidelines and brand style. Day-to-day tasks include organizing raw media, selecting key clips, synchronizing audio, applying transitions, and adding titles and graphics to create engaging, cohesive videos. The role involves color grading, basic sound adjustment, and collaboration with journalists, producers, and graphic designers to deliver timely, polished content.



The Video Editor will also assist in optimizing video formats for various digital platforms and maintaining an organized archive of projects and assets.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in Video Editing and Video Production using industry-standard software.
- Solid skills in Video Color Grading for visual consistency and mood.
- Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics to enhance storytelling.
- Understanding of digital video formats, codecs, and platform-specific requirements.
- Attention to detail, strong visual sense, and ability to work under deadlines in a newsroom environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional editorial teams.
- Relevant experience in news, documentary, or digital media video editing; portfolio or showreel required.
- Formal training or a degree/diploma in Film, Media, Communication, or a related field is preferred.

Pay: ₹10,148.90 - ₹35,235.08 per month
